i completely agree. I cant remember the last time the rangers had a lethal PP throughout an entire season. The caps always seem to have a deadly PP - mostly due to OVI but still. no excuses. We have the talent, if CBJ can have a good PP with Torts as coach, we can too. - richardson30
what's weird is that the powerplay was pretty good up until this month
February has arguably been their best month of the season, and the powerplay has been brutal |

Well whats considered a good PP? 25%? I don't expect a goal every PP but 1 out 4 would be nice. |

...and...
Am I missing something? Perhaps a good AHL game? - mames11
maybe wanna get a look at Laich? he is on waivers, or maybe somebody else
maybe a larger trade where a prospect is a throw in, could be million reasons |

Yeah, it has really sucked. Its the one thing that scares me going into the playoffs. How many times its a close game and a team wins because of a PP goal |

this is most likely the case. $4.5M cap hit, but only this year left. wouldnt be a horrible guy to have as a 12th/13th forward. good character player. |

Why does every loss constitute saying there was no effort? It's such an insult. The opponent never gets credit for anything around here. I feel like I watch a different game every night.
The problom with this team right now is the Power play. You can dissect individual players, effort, defense, offense, coaching, etc. It's simply put, the power play sucks right now - Slimtj100
Nothing wrong with the effort last night, it was the execution particularly on the PP and from specific guys like Ziba who's really struggling, he's very good at possessing the puck but right now it's not on his stick for more than a second |

Yeah score on one pp they win last night . I dont expect them to score every dam time butalot of times they dont even have quality chance or cant even get in zone.. and it seems like no adjustments made by coaching staff. Like AV too busy trying to decide on Trident or Juicy fruit for game. |

Well in defense of AV the PP is Arneils job I think.
There is no excuse for a shotless PP though. Thats just disgusting. |

No question I said before its Arniel's job but it's obvious to everyone watching he's not getting it done if I was head coach I wouldn't feel too good losing games cause my assistant isn't getting his job done. Its all hear say im not in room with them to know what they talk about. But I do know minus a couple of hot streaks pp has been a problem before and since Arneil has been here. |

Yeah, I'm not a big Arneil fan. I guess we have to hope either the PP gets hot before the playoffs, or the PK is phenomenal. |

Or we get Shatty and he actually comes here and brings his skills with him and is used correctly by coaching staff! |

While I would love to get Shattenkirk, it better not be for a ridiculous price. Like 1 of our top 9 forwards. |
