Tonight's game should be fun. Not from a win/loss perspective (on paper we should get destroyed), but will be a chance for some players who really want it, to make some noise.
If we do anything on the TDL, (If the team was smart) we will off-load UFA's and get what we can. Maybe make a real move and trade a defenseman for a real piece. Hopefully there will be some space for some young guns.
Where we sucked last year at the TDL, I think it will be different this year.......Has anyone noticed, seems like Canucks brass is listening. Last year, us fans whined about every move made......(hey John......Corrado........NEVER FORGET). This season, seems like a lot of suggestions that get thrown around here, have been getting tried with the actual Canucks.
I just wanna see Subban get a shot |

Kesler just KO'd Jeff Carter. He got back up right away but nice right hand. Chippy game. |

He might be most talented. 2 years in college and he can come in to a very young team - Nuck4U
Usually is easier to fit in from college vs Jr for many.
I just have had a feeling about him for months.
His play has only made me more certain. |

My take on last year was it was more of an awkward scenario.
One year later & where we r at makes options more clear.

He looks like a bigger Hischeir to me. Not as developed but same kind of skill set. Twenty pounds heavier...

It was interesting to find out Hansen put a couple of non playoff teams on his list. |

Patrick or Liljegren pls a 123 of Horvat , Patrick and Sutter looks nice to me , and if not a top D man with Doughty potential...hmmm sounds pretty good |

Also interesting to find out Miller hasn't changed his list since he first arrived in Vancouver. I guess that means it still and always was about location over playoffs and winning... not a big revelation... |

Jannik Hansen says he has "6 or 7" playoff teams on his 8-team trade list submitted to #Canucks.

THe list means nothing. Unless they can only trade him to one of those 8 teams. |

Any of those would be nice.
A C is 1st priority but passing on Liljgren would be hard to do also.
If JB can move a D or 2 then options r wide open. |

D men can always be moved rather easily to make room for upgrades
nashville has shown on a few occasions that D depth can be used to alleviate forward depth when required |
