This was a move that even I was dumbfounded by. McKegg was a high-energy guy who drove the net. He's young and just wants to hit people. He is an ideal 4th line player, and I'd sure as hell would rather have him on the ice than Thornton. Candy-a$$ move by the team.

So this team will be off on their annual golfing trip once the season ends. Last year was a fluke, we are back on track for being a losing organization that can't even make the playoffs in a league where half the teams make it. Nah, it wasn't a fluke. They just got too cute and "over-tweaked" themselves. Not that any of the guys they let go are lighting it up, but it sure did affect chemistry. Injuries didn't help either,and yes..I know injuries are part of the game.

Hey buddy. Thank you for the kind words regarding our team. Please don't judge the fan base solely off of comments on this website. There are thousands of happy Panther fans out there, who love the direction of this franchise.
There's a bunch of angry fans, such as Islander fans, who come onto our boards and cause problems just for the sake of causing problems. They think their team is better than ours, so they have to stir the pot.
Then, there are "Panther fans" such has Harveykline and Ballardhitshard22, who do nothing but bash the team and fans, yet they call themselves "Panther fans". When you read their comments, it's literally 100% negative.
I'm sure if you ever go to a Panther game, in Sunrise, you'll meet a lot of nice fans and see that most of us are good people, who love the game, and aren't angry.
