unless they deal with one of the teams where they've already sent a player and as part of the new deal stop retaining that other players salary... ie: canucks retain salary on both Sedins in a deal with Florida where they stop retaining salary on Luongo.... eat half the salary of both Sedins (total 7 mill) and stop retaining the 800k on luongo.

I am so disappointed in Matt Sekaras from TSN 1040 for announcing this. All he did was create a pariah in Hansen for anytime he plays in Montreal. Now luckily, he was traded to a Western team so he only pays The Habs twice a year but still... he did not deserve to be called out like that.
