Sorry but thats completely laughable. Vrbata has 600 points in 1,000 games. Hansen has never cracked 40 points in a season (Vrbata 8 times), and hit 20 goals once (Vrbata has hit 30 more times than Hansen has hit 20).

And I dont care if Hansen kills penalties, or does the little things right. Vrbata has produced on crappy teams and is still outproducing him despite being 5 years older than him

Produces squat & floats in the PO's.
@5m/yr he is laughable and not twice the value of Hansens 2.5/yr.
Hansen is what winning teams want & need while Vrbata is not.
He fetched nothing last season cuz worth nothing & hardly has the drive to win.

I would say that Hansen has more value today too. A big part is because of his contract, Vrbata would be a rental and has bonus clauses that will affect next year's cap, Hansen is younger/faster. A playoff team likely needs a versatile Hansen more than a top 6 winger.

For career its not even a question, Vrbata has had a better one. Hansen would need to score 73 points a season to come match career totals at the same stage

He doesn't like to get traded.... so this year he added 250k per round of playoffs as a bonus in his contract. Arizona didn't care, but those that want a playoff rental will as those bonuses are taken off next yrs cap.
