"I hear Seattle really would be open to moving Richard Sherman if the offer was serious," were Lombardi's exact words. It's the first we've heard of the possibility, though Sherman is coming off a season where he struggled with an ankle injury and clashed with coaches. He turns 29 later this month. Sherman is due a combined $22.431 million over the next two seasons. It's extremely unlikely he's playing anywhere other than Seattle come Week 1.

I hate the idea of it now, would end up liking it if it ended up happening, then hate it again no more than 2 years after it happened.

I can't tell you how much I wanted them to draft Sidney Jones. They seem to be royally effin up the off season now. Doing absolutely nothing to replenish the WR core or Corner (assuming Hyde is a safety, but what's it matter which way you slice it) and only have one prime pick to fix both positions.
