Brace yourself, CJ. You will have a 3 game honeymoon before you will learn exactly how bad you suck/stink. - Der Kaiser
He'll probably score a goal a game but Bylsma's criticism of him was that he didn't turn around at the blue line enough on a rush and play defense.
....just in case we lost possession of the puck.
Eh, well is a stretch. He's basically performed as a #4 on this team.
Goals for % - 5th
Shots per 60- 6th
Points/60 -3rd
Corsi for rel - 5th
Corsi against rel - 6th
He's laid a couple nice hits, and had a stretch where he's put up some points, but nothing suggesting he's moving the needle for this team - sbroads24
not in this sense but given the uptake in ice time and competition the numbers still look good. Suggests that hes more than capable of being a #3 at 20 mins or whatever.
McCabe pairings usually fall into the "fun" quadrant of the shot chart, as much O as D usually where 2nd pairings are.

If they can somehow get a quality righty and quality lefty and roll more evenly spaced minutes among the top 4 with a more attacking style, it would make a world of difference.
I'm not even sure the additions have to be world beaters, they just have to be good.

I think that was the plan with Kulikov.
If he didnt have a rash of injuries, i think we would have been at least a serviceable 2nd paring guy.
Bogo is a mess.
Franson can't skate.
Georges should be a #7.
....hope that Russian kid signs and can at least kinda play.

If he does you should think about opening a kiosk at the FNC selling Drakkar Noir.
