Wrong, of course.
But why lecture?
Mike Harrington @ByMHarrington
Can't wait for the AP's next journalism lecture. Of course, all we heard from them was nothing indicated Bylsma was in trouble. Whatever. |

Harrington really is a dbag. I get and respect the opinion that tanking is in some way wrong. I don't agree with it but whatever. He goes out of his way to troll others that feel differently.

While I respect his opinion, he acts like the Sabres are the only team to have ever done it and he attacks the Pegula's about it every chance he gets which is ridiculous. It was 2 years ago now. Time to move on.
He strikes me as the type that holds a grudge against people for a ridiculous amount of time for the most petty of things in life. |

I guarantee that the Sabres will be looking North up the QEW for a few answers on how to proceed given what's gone on there over the past couple seasons.
You may hate me for saying it, but whatever, it's true. - As_I_See_It
Toronto fans need to get over themselves already, they are acting like they re- invented the wheel, If the Sabres are to look anywhere for the blueprint, they look to the west and follow whatever Detroit did to make to the playoffs for 26 years in a row. |

The question at hand:
I'm a tender, took a slapshot to the head last night, mask cracked right down the top seam. The straps and cage keep it together, but when hit again it rattles pretty bad. I have a beer league game tonight and no money to purchase a new mask.
Which brings me to the question at hand...how much do I need a functional brain anyways?
Edit: Crossed fingers are appreciated, prayers encouraged. Have a good weekend all you chickies and duderinos. Catch you on the flip side. |

So where are you going to play him on 3rd line ? Jack , ROR , Sam .. - GERBE!!!75PTS
Yes, if you find the right linemates for him, then you have a good third line, How about it's time to see what we have in the system, put Sam with Fasching and Carrier and see what happens, 2 guys who will go to the net and work the corners, try it at the start and tweek as you go. |

You don't have some of that gorilla glue to help that out lol flex seal it up also
But I suggest if you don't have a working mask you don't do it I don't know if you have a family but that is pretty important |

I mean I understand back in the day you can have 3 Lines Moving but I think just having him on the third line is a waste unless everyone gets equal minutes like the Pittsburgh model
I would try him on the second line and Ryan O'Reilly on the 3rd but I don't know if Ryan O'Reilly will female dog |

I can't believe "the Tank" is still being discussed in this community. Mike Harrington needs to find a new issue to harp on. |

I think Gerbe you're missing the point that hockey is a niche sport in all the big American cities. There is little to no national coverage. Our city DEFINITELY blows things up when it comes to the Sabres. - Phatjohnsn
It is definitely true that Buffalo is a fishbowl, But our love for hockey isn't just limited to the Sabres, that is proven by how high we end up every year in the TV rankings for regular season and the playoffs. I really don't think fans are that much of an issue here, I think the constant abuse from the media is toxic, they only seem to be happy when they are pushing to get somebody fired and then it happens. For example, in today's presser they were told no Bills questions and Benigni asks "If Murray was fired, why wasn't Whaley" To me that was disrespectful, but not nearly as bad as Harrington was about the "tanking", Pegula was right in his response, I think he should have used Toronto as his rebuttal though. It has been spouted in the media how TO has rebuilt with dignity (Vomit), but, Buffalo tanked. |

I have always said, people make too much of a deal about who is on what number line, through out the course of most games the matchups dictate who's on the ice when. You want your best players to be on the ice the most, 5v5, PP, PK and so on, Sam can be third line enter and front of net guy on PP's and his minutes will be up, he should be able to PK also. Your hope is that the team can put 4 lines out there that you can do some sort of damage with. |

Sounds like the 2014 draft year for the Sabres. Still didn't get the best player in the draft (or the second best) |

The worst part about our media (Harrington, Hamilton) is how unprofessional and disheveled they look. I mean they seriously always look like they just rolled out of bed and out of their parents basement.. |

I'm not saying this to defend Hamilton, but at my fantasy Baseball draft on April 2nd, a friend, who I have known for over 20 years quoted word for word, That Eichel said he wouldn't sign an extension as long as Bylsma was the coach. How many of us have spouted dislike for our superiors in one form or another, we just don't have contract negotiations to use as a weapon and we go about our lives. I'm sure Jack is frustrated and he muttered the statement to somebody and probably don't even remember saying it. |

As much as I was anti TMGM, we have the worst luck.
Reinhart should be better than he is right now.
I'm praying Bylsma was truly awful at his job |
