Freddy is the reason the series is 2-2 and not 3-1 or even done already. he had some bumps in the road during the season but has been all I could hope for in the playoffs.

Absolutely, but anyone who knows anything about this league whether it's an owner, GM, coach, player or fan etc. knows that in order to build, maintain and sustain a contending team that it needs to be done over time, successful drafting, in large part development from within and some luck when trading.

The days of quick fixes are over, and this is where Murray failed. That said, I wonder how much pressure there was from Pegula to "win now (or soon)?"

it really all depends upon the perception of players like kane, o'reilly and Lehner who were the primary players in their trades

for instance, will someone turn into a top-six forward which I believe kane is...or a top-notch, two-way center I believe O'Reilly is...or a decent no. 1 nhl goalie like I perceive Lehner to be...

He's been good all series especially in his own end. No complaints.

I like it...an owner who knows how he wants his team is to look...and wants everyone from the GM down to be on the same page. That's how every successful business operates. If a cog doesn't fit the whole machine stumbles...gotta have the dots connect. I like this move and give him credit for taking the steps to fix his machine.
