Id still push for it as its probably the only scenario in which you get a top pairing guy who helps now and 3-5 years from now.

I liked Murray, he was aggressive. I like aggressive, but in the end he failed for whatever reason...bad coach, bad trades, too cocky...whatever he was paid to win, and he lost...lets hope Botterill is the answer.

Yes he was and was fired for trying to do it too quickly. He should have tried to take 5 years doing it according to many. Botterill will fix that ..... he'll get rid of Kane, bolster Rochester and in 5 years we might be a contender. Hope that makes everyone happy.

Contract status works in our favour as not too many teams could afford to give him the long term deal he wants.

Even if it cost more, im not sure how much is too much or what id say no to. Bringing him in solves a lot of problems

bruins are gunna have macavoy and carlo so they're out. Hard to bet against the sharks. Stars would be interesting.
