I have no issue either, but these type of players are out there to be had all over the place. Why lock in a roster spot / contract until you have all your crap figure out after the expansion draft, which players you are keeping, which you wanna trade, etc..?

If someone else grabs Martinsen in the meantime, no big whoop. I mean, MB is a genius in getting bottom 6 forwards, so not like it will ever be an issue.
