I wouldn't do this deal. Bozak is already cheaper than Couturier... and is significantly better offensively. Kapanen is NHL ready, cheap and appears to have tons of upside.

Morin is a ?... definitely no guarantee that he'll be an everyday NHLer.

So you're giving up a consistent 40Point+ center who's the team's best faceoff man, an emerging NHL player with upside and 2nd for a offensively challenged 3rd line center at best (locked in for 5 years at 4.3M) and 5M resident of Robidas Island.

He's been pretty consistent for the Marlies 43pts in 43g and 8pts in 9pogs....not bad at all.

Consistently scores big goals, WJC, Marlies and Leafs Playoffs this season.

His whole time with the Leafs so far has been forth line duties with limited minutes.

I would bet if he replaced Hyman on Matthews wing you would see a major uptick in his points, consistency, and even a few more clutch goals with the big club.
