Trade him to Anaheim for Manson. I like him, but I have to admit.....I developed a man-crush for Manson these playoffs. Kapenen is exempt from the expansion draft...just what the Ducks need in any trade.

Maybe there are other pieces involved, but you have to give to get and this one makes sense to me.

There are certainly options there......or Nashville....or Carolina (only because of the Canes depth, not because of expansion issues).

one thing is for sure.. Minny has some tough roster decisions to make both from a pure CAP perspective and the expansion/LV draft perspective.

I could see Uncle Lou "helping" Minny with their CAP and draft problem ... some form of deal centered around one of Scandella or Brodin ... but with a few more pieces/picks going both directions.

Very similar situation as Anaheim... although I'm guessing a little less publicized as Minny didn't go as far as Anaheim.

Not a fan of his for sure. Seems like a good kid. See him at some of the hockey events, but I certainly hope they don't trade for him.
