Would Toronto trade Marner and 2017 1st round pick for the #2 pick? - Glak18
No. They love that kid.
He's going no where unless Edmonton is on the phone and having some kind of brain impairing stroke or something. |

I agree!! I wish people would get off this we must dump MacDonald at whatever cost it takes. Flyers have no major cap issues and when they do end up having to resign young players AMac will be long gone. - Glak18
I'm not trading AMac to dump salary, I want his roster spot open. |

Would Toronto trade Marner and 2017 1st round pick for the #2 pick? - Glak18
No, because Marner is the same level of player as Nico and Nolan, and is already years ahead in his development. |

Yet it seems you're not excited about adding either player but routinely gush over Marner.

Ok so Vegas has no chance of getting enough assets to trade for the #2.

Love Mitch Marner - YuenglingJagr
I offered the Leafs fans Amac and a conditional 7th for a lock of Marner's hair.
Didn't go so well |

Willing to listen to offers ≠ Not being excited about Nico/Nolan |

It's not closed. They could give us a top line left winger. A number 1 goalie. A 6th overall in this draft and their 2018 first which will likely be a top 3-5 pick.
So to move down 4 spots we get a LW for Giroux and a Number 1 goalie to hold the spot till Hart or Sandstrom is ready plus a chance at a franchise player in next years draft, not just a number 1 center and possibly still get a number 1 center with the 6th overall. |

Actually my deal was:
They take AMac, Read and Weise along with #2 overall and we get #6, another top 12 pick in 2017, their unprotected 1st in 2018, our choice of any goalie on their roster, our choice of any Dman on their roster and our choice of any forward on their roster, and, if any of the players we choose have cap hits greater than 3.5 million they need to retain the difference.
That deal, I would make. - BiggE
this i think i might accept |

Hopefully that top line winger you speak of is not named James Neal...because you know you said top line and he is not.
Ditto as above (goaltender wise) that doesn't have horse teeth.
#1 center at pick 6...when most people don't even know if pick 1 and 2 are even #1 centers? |

I would give them insurance. If the pick is a top 3 they would get a conditional 1st back. If it's not then we have 2 first round picks. |
