Shame not to see Laberge on Team Canada's list. I'm guessing that his injury issues last season played a big part in him not being selected. Hopefully he can start the year off strong and get an invite to selection camp in December. |

Why? Matthews was considered to be on par with Eichel, and Laine's WJC shot him way up to push Matthews. Third is where Patrick would have been last year.

So Marian Hossa at age 38 has an allergy that could quite possibly end his career putting him on LTIR and tbe Hawks avoiding recapture penalties. Nothing to see here, move along. Thank goodness, this allergy didn't cut his career short. |

The trade worked for Tampa, but I don't think a team now would even consider a deal like the 4th overall for two 2nds and a 30 point winger. |

So I am really hoping Ek is wrong and Fleury is not headed our way. Watching him implode leaves me concerned even though this playoff he was better. |

Don't forget these rosters are a lot of wishful thinking. Some these guys will be in the nhl.
I wanted hischier with a 51 to 49 edge. But since nolan by all means appears to be nhl bound I can start mad scientisting and armchair gming our lineup. Lindblom - Nolan - tk anyone? Or lindblom - nolan - jake ? Wooo weeee |

Last I saw was that Fleury is staying in Vegas, that he will be the face of the Vegas franchise.
I a m hoping for one of these 3: Pickard, Raanta or Mrazek |

Latest word was he waived to go to Vegas and only Vegas. So he's not going anywhere else. McPhee is doing a Defense grab and trade per his presser yesterday. |

His family was his concern going to Philly allows them to stay in PA and still run his charities. He could get an apartment near Philly and let his family continue to live in the Pittsburgh suburbs a few hours away |

Grubauer said he wants to be a 1. So if they don't take him in Vegas I think capital's deal him for a 2nd rounder since they are low on draft picks. |

I don't think anyone truly know who the Devils will pick until they pick. In my opinion it makes logical sense that they go Nico Hischier because they've never had an explosive offensive player outside of Kovachuk, who jumped ship (Unless I'm forgetting someone). The Devils in my opinion have always have been a defensive trap team that I wouldn't be surprised if they drafted Nolan Patrick and trap him in that system.
If we draft Patrick though, he plays. |

I get that.
Hard to see them sending him to a division rival. |
