The Sabres have sent out qualifying offers to six restricted free agents. Robin Lehner's offer is $3.15-million, Marcus Foligno's is $2.25-million, Zemgus Girgensons got $1.15-million, Johan Larsson's is $997,500 and Evan Rodrigues received $787,500.

It was on GR's website in case anyone hasn't seen it yet.

Will Butcher will be a FA soon. Anyone heard if we are interested in him? I don't know why we would not be since it would be entry level contact.

Why the F is Foligno's so high? Oh, right. Nepotism.

Lehner's is perfect.

I was expecting that for Foligno but Lehner is perfect. I have no issue with any of those offers.

U might wanna look up the definition of "nepotism"

Mike Foligno isn't a part of our organization,
nor was he when Foligno was given his last contract by GMTM

What's the minimum Foligno could've been offered to qualify? You have to offer a certain percent raise to qualify and this is at least the second time Foligno is going through it.

at 2.25 his QO had to be 100%. i think its the guys that range from 500k to 1.1 something that get the 105% or 110% raise

Pretty much right. I looked it up. Link below if interested. Remember what he was making last year? I don't know, but I guess it could be more than they needed to offer him.

problem is if you open things up defensively and it goes pear shaped i dont know how you move a goalie who is getting a minimum 4 mil.

Right, but he still is an RFA next year (I think). Of course, you could simply not qualify him after next year, but...
