Well in the salary cap era teams cycles appear to be shorter. A few of these teams on the rise Edmonton, Toronto etc. will likely be trending down when we become legit contenders. I suppose I'm optimistic, but I envision playoffs in 3 years

Yeah I'm thinking 3 as well. No way ownership will allow a 5 year window of no playoffs.

If I am a free agent I would be thinking do I want to play on this bad team that is really old, get limited ice time , and have a horrible travel schedule.

This is a bad soft team and playing with scrubs or old men won't entice UFAs .

Seen the ads but it never sunk in. What a great Country. Hope everyone has a great weekend celebration. I remember well the 1967 celebration well ,I went to Expo 67 living in Montreal . Time flies . Proud to be Canadian.

I think the twins should stay around much like Gretzky with the Oilers , but off the ice. It is time to try new things and change the image and culture of this team. Bo is not the answer but he is part of the answer. We need better .
