What is the desire to sign Del Zotto? He has only been a + dman twice in his NHL career and over the last 6yrs he's has only played 52+ games once.

The player they sign for like $2 million to replace his production plus his buyout hit is essentially the same amount of money that they would have been paying him in the first place
