Canucks have reached out to Free Agents ABBA to do the national anthems - VANTEL
They are obviously starting with anthems as they get eased into Linden's job.

Weber didn't play PP for nashville.
D men pinching from the point, going between the hashmarks and to the net, and jumping into odd man rushes is the new norm. I agree it's not QB or whatever, but it is offensive minded enough to score and join the rush and find the lane. We have Stecher that can do this without getting burned, that's about it. We have Hutton that can do this, but not without getting torched consistently. Jb knows it and is trying I think. I would not be surprised to see kuliakov or delzotto given a shot. - neem55

me too. He was a rock solid defender and you could tell when he was absent. We'd lose games without him and he'd come back and we'd go on a winning streak - SMBDragon
Yeah but he did miss an awful lot of games. He was a BandAIDS if there was one. |

pretty similar players, not sure how you can have a preference. bad players with offensive upside and young enough that they might get better still. Very similar numbers and style of play. |

I am so happy with this years draft and last years TDL that I am not going to let those knuckleheads bother me. |

Best thing about Salo though, when he came back there was never rust. He'd play 60 games, but they were very consistent. |

Couldn't resist pulled the lever once....Canucks went up 2 spots to win 1OA with Kings up 8 for 2OA and Isles up 12 spots at 3OA.
Got to love the lotto draw no matter where you are slated winning is easy |

Demers is a good D-man.
he is 10X the d-man Kris Russell is in every facet of the game and only gets paid 500K more.
But there is nothing about this on twitter so it probably isn't true. - classic321
if this is true then obviously they are signing gagner / weal to replace him |

However we slice n dice the next draft we will look good again.
I presume JB will keep on track continuing to add to this last good haul.
Furthermore adding another 1st or 2nds would really be stellar.
Top end looks to get us a very good piece if not D then Tkachuk suits me perfect. |

We are so reliant on our wingers producing its harder yet to wait & see Pettersson & Gaudette & what impact they can bring. D scoring is & will be a big concern. |

Tough battle ahead to underperform better than VGK & the AV'nots though.
Can we lower to the challenge? |

Sure and I think Lind who does play C may be a consideration as well for the 3LC spot. |

Trade tanev at the TDL to a bubble for a 1st, if they don't make it we get two lotto balls. Fact: Two balls are better than one (Salo, 2011) |

Dmen can play well until around 32-ish. The cost must be cheap, Florida exposed Demers in the expansion draft and Tallon is getting rid of all the players the moneyball guys signed last year.
If they can move Tanev for a nice return then it makes a ton of sense.
Picks/Prospects or young top 6 forward from Tanev trade + Demers >> Tanev - Nucker101
salo played very well until he went to tampa. That was well past 32 i believe.
I wonder why they would trade for a D when you can sign a UFA D such as franson or kulikov in 2 days. Makes no sense unless they need to move sutters contract for another UFA C |

Salo played in a playoff game with a broken nut sack. That's pretty much as alpha as it gets. Will definitely be one of my favs.
Too bad he didn't drink more milk |
