that was because he blocked tons of shots and despite getting injured from it never shied away from playing in the tougher areas. Took so many slappers to key areas.... to his face and needed surgery to repair caved in face and of course the famous testicle slap shot. Guy was a a warrior!

pretty similar players, not sure how you can have a preference. bad players with offensive upside and young enough that they might get better still. Very similar numbers and style of play.

How many players do you think after taking a face caving slapper and a teste the size of a grapefruit would continue to play the way they do blocking shots and playing in the dirty areas? Very very few. He never changed his play and I admired him for that. A model for future canuck D

Jesus... The quality of product / play is already pretty rough by the time the final rolls around... The wear and tear really adds up. That and ice conditions in June are not all that great.
