if you look at AV's comments from Brooks latest article (ya i know hes been wrong a lot this summer) it realy shows you they think Andersson will compete for that 3rd line center spot - mrn22
Yep. I fully expect this to be our lineup come season start:
Kreider - Zib - Buch
Miller - Hayes - Grab
Nash - Andersson - Zucc
Fast - Nieves/DD - Vesey
(Forward group is fluid, just like last year, AV will play whoever is hot at the time)
McD - Shatty
Skjei - Smith
Staal/Holden - ADA
Hank
Pavelec
Not bad. I think we make the playoffs with this team, but i do not have my hopes set too high. bit of a transition year maybe? |

Im kinda done with Grabner playing that far up.. he creates chances with his speed on rush plays which can happen on any line. I would put him back down on the 4th line

not surprising. more money for him overseas. no chance he made it to the NHL. AV didnt seem to like him very much for his short stint here. - richardson30
Players rarely get paid in the KHL. They sign contracts and some just don't see the money. That league may be gone by 2020. It's already losing 3 teams in the next two years. |

Really? Ugh, that's terrible. The questionable decisions of our youth. That's too bad. Shades of Dany Heatley. Hopefully it won't effect his career as much. |

I read something about there could be an investigation cause of how fast they were going but they never list Kovacs as the actual person, they just describe someone who the twitter world is speculating is Kovacs |

yea, thats why i put the caveat in there. I have no idea what AV thinks the lines will be - i doubt he has zucc and Nash on the 3rd line, i just dont see them playing with Hayes who has proven some good chemistry with Miller. Maybe a 3rd line of Buch, Andersson and Grabs? some offense with 2 pretty good defensive forwards(Andersson is Swedish so i assume he is good in the dzone. ) |
