but, you'd do it next month or wait til next summer.
- jimbro83

Next summer, I can't see having a cap hit for 8 years. He's not un-usable, but not worth 5.7. Hopefully he plays decent this season and we can trade him to one of the teams on his 15 team list next summer.

I was going to suggest that Gorton reach out to this guy.

Why do I have this sneaking suspicion that Jimmy had that same cardigan and turtleneck back in the 80's?

well, what it would do though is get him out of the way, but also open some space up for moves that may come about during the season

but, ultimately I think the best case of action is to trade Holden, and look at buying Staal out next summer.

- jimbro83

I thought Staal could be traded to select teams next summer. At least that's what some said here.

To move Staal the Rangers would have to move one of Buchnevich, Andersson, Chytil, Day or Shesterokin and probably a pick. Idk if that's worth it or not.

Colorado has virtually nobody signed on the team; especially on D. Maybe ship Stall there with a pick, eat half the salary for this season, and obtain a mediocre pick in return...or a bag of sporks.

An, the 6 in Obama's back has meaning. "Shestyorka" (the 6 in playing cards) is criminal slang for "small fry", a lowly flunky.

Forgetting the context, your prized goalie prospect's name translates to "Small Fry" in English. Suck on that nerdzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

No, they'll be fine. Duchene will fetch them 43 high-end pieces.

Staal is still an NHL caliber player, just no longer a top 4 defenseman. I'd rather trade him and eat 2 million a year for 3 years than buy him out and have that cap hit for 6 years. I think saying you would need to add one of those guys is a HUGE exaggeration, but I do think we would have to eat some salary.

I dont think its a big exaggeration at all when you look at what Bickell cost to get rid of.

If he has a year like last, or gets worse, I think it would easily cost a prospect to move him.

There's your problem

Why doesn't anyone use common sense with all these states refusing to turn over voter info because they don't want to get caught with voter fraud and the fraud itself was for the candidate who lost?

MSM does not tell the truth, they spin and collude to impeach someone who hasn't done anything to get impeached for, the left is nothing but hypocrisy day after day

Sorry Brian but I can't stand the poop I see

I guess you need to hear the latest updates today to "try to be" convinced. However, you are correct in that he doesn't need to be impeached. He and his staff all warrant criminal action ONLY! Why then are many of their incriminating type "leaks" coming from his own W. H. staff?

Didn't your prized goalie who you all thought was coming over just re-up in the KHL for another 10 years.

He's still a 5/6 dman. Bickell turned into an AHL player(due to some very sad circumstances).

We'll see, hopefully he bounces back and we can trade him in the summer with only having to retain some salary.

That would be great. I just have serious doubts when it comes to Staal.
