I'll admit I don't watch the canes much.. but from what I've seen, I'd rather have hanifin than any other dman not named Faulk on their team.

Ask most Canes fans they have Slavin and Pesce higher. Plus they just added TVR.
And have high end lefties coming up in Bean and Fluery. Hence why most have speculated that Hanifin may be a peice to go to get a top end offensive player.

I'm not saying it's happening, that is just some of the chatter out there.

Sakic has the same issue Snow does. He thinks his players and prospects are the best in the NHL. As a long time Isles fan it was nice for a while to not have a GM trade everyone of worth away before they became legit (... Milbury.. cough Cough.. milbury). Once you get to a certain point thought you have to make some moves and neither of these idiots are capable of pulling the trigger. If the Avs have Duchene in October than Sakic should be fired.. period.

Canucks r my team & JB gets some rein for awhile yet.
That said its 1-2yrs while prospects develop.
Saddled with a ton of NMC & NTC's & aging core he inherited.
Doesn't change overnight but the scrutiny is heavily on him now.
