42-45 points centering Kane and Panarin for 4.550M per. Not more than you would expect for the $$. Would love him back, but for JT 1/1...

I want no part of Anisimov for anyone on this roster, also no way unless Chicago retains half, he hasn't played a full season in a few years |

Could you please try to be a bit more specific...? - 21peter
I do so just for you, but see that you need me to be even "more so" still for you. So, I will do so on the next line below:
...........
Was that more specific for you? |

he is still 2 months away from turning 18, it's amazing
the summer when I was 17 I was flipping burgers at Roy Rogers - jimbro83
Was that at the former one located at the border of Plainview & Hicksville, where I saw some employee leaving his shift, wearing a 1980's Red color, Rangers MSG giveaway cap with the Rangers logo, in order to possibly hide his Stepan looking hair style? Roy's had the best tasting burgers back then of all the fast food chains I had frequented in being a traveling salesman in the tri-state area during the 1980's.
I believe there may still be a few Metro area ones located in the gas station combo rest areas on the NJ TPK, & NYS Thruway from Orange County & up North. Otherwise, I believe they are primarily now in the Maryland & D.C. region, plus the mountain states out West, both as per ads shown on the sideboards at Caps and Avs home games. |

No, not straight up. But I am also concerned a little bit with Miller playing at center, as opposed to left wing. They should simply re-unite the Miller-Hayes-Grabner line, that was at its peak, prior to AV breaking it up after Zibanejad's injury. That's also ironically when the team was regularly scoring 4 to 5 goals in most games during the first two months of last season. I still believe for both Miller's & the team's benefit, that his game is best suited as a left winger. |

I don't usually ever dream up trade proposals, but yeah, the thinking from me is why force Miller to be a center, why not just trade him for a center
surprised everyone here is so down on Anisimov, yeah, it would have to be something more with Anisimov for Miller, but, Artie's got a a nice cap hit for next 4 years, nice Russian center to play with Buchnevich
Artie and Alex DeBrincat for JT Miller? |

Arty is 29 and has a career high 45 points and a 4.55mm cap hit
Miller is only 25 and is already coming off a 56 point season with a cap hit of only 2.75 |

Artie and DeBrincat... - YES!
How bout a pure 5'7 line: DeBrincat-Desharnais-Zuke would've been awesome |

I remember that one, down over there (off rt 109) was an Arby's and that restaurant that Gordon Ramsey cleaned up but then it went out of business anyway. |

If leafs are looking at Markov, according to EK, than I hope nyr is offering Holden in a package for Bozak. |

I would like to see AV leave Miller only at left wing for an entire season, (whether always with the same line mates or not), to see his maximum potential. AV's been here long enough to realize that Miller is best suited at LW, especially as per his past season's success with Hayes and Grabner being his line mates, until Zib suffered his leg injury.
I am not down on bringing Anisimov back to fill our opened center spot. Like you, I also feel that Artie would be a great benefit for Buchnevich if they were to play on the same line. He would also be of value to Buch off the ice, in helping him become greater acclimated to life in the U.S. I simply would not want to part with Miller to acquire him. |

I would bet that Gorton had already offered Holden as one piece in part to possibly acquire center, Tyler Bozak.
However, if "Toronto Star" writer, Kevin McGran, can be of any trustworthiness, he had written at the beginning of this past week in regards to any talk of Bozak being dealt to the Rangers, that "the Leafs have no interest in 30 year old, Nick Holden".
There was also the feeling that the best match for the Leafs in acquiring a defenseman from a team in need of any of their forward depth, would be with Carolina. The Hurricanes have only two of their d'men in Justin Faulk and Jacob Slavin currently signed after next season. That leaves at least two top promising young defensemen in Brett Pesce and Noah Hanifan in part among their unsigned ones, who are 8 and 10 years younger respectively than Holden, but who would each require a bigger return from Toronto than just the 31 year old center in Tyler Bozak at a $4.2M cap hit.
In addition, Toronto is now about $3.9M over the cap, with only another $3.6M permitted to be over during the summer. That could also have an effect on what they may be able to do to upgrade at defense, unless parting with a significant cap piece(s) up front in one or more moves. |
