You do realize that when you think that the sabres have been spurned you lose all objectivity. Personally I though you were over hyping the kid but that seems to be what all bloggers are doing with college free agents. Maybe next year when this same situation arises try being objective in the first place that way when he doesn't sign with the sabres you won't look like a sore loser. |

The kid had not played.an NHL game yet and you were calling him better than Crosby.

August 28th (after Butcher signed with NJ), "He said he thinks he is ready to play in the NHL today.
That's debatable."
It's amazing how a player can go from being a "prime cut" to chopped liver within a week, according to fans of the team they didn't pick. |
