Yeah, shame on that coach for being over the top with his comparison and potential for butcher, you know, the guy who has actually watched him play to be able to form an opinion |

Hilarious, according to Garf in past blogs, Butcher could make the puck dance, now Garf intimates that Butcher all of a sudden "no puck dancee here", now Butcher can't dance his way out of a paper bag. Grow up Garf. |

Wow you are dumb. I feel bad for the Sabres fans that have to constantly read your awful drivel day to day. |

Just a week ago Butcher was a gem... now that Botterill couldn't sign him he's lost a few steps, eh. You must have some Boston Bruin fan in your DNA. The 313 was pretty funny stuff. |

You do realize that when you think that the sabres have been spurned you lose all objectivity. Personally I though you were over hyping the kid but that seems to be what all bloggers are doing with college free agents. Maybe next year when this same situation arises try being objective in the first place that way when he doesn't sign with the sabres you won't look like a sore loser. |

Wait......you are questioning someone making a player comparison, Garth. I guess I have to remind d you again that when Grigorenko was a Sabres prospect winning a World Junior Championship you said he was the best hockey player on the planet at the time. The kid had not played.an NHL game yet and you were calling him better than Crosby.
Thanks for the continued comedy. |

Like all fan bases there are good and bad fans (Lord knows there are more than enough idiot Leafs fans out there!)....Sabres are no different. But Garth......this guy is in a class of his own. |

What I would pay to do a sit down one on one interview with Garth and publish it on Hockeybuzz. How fun would it be to have him actually answer for his bullsh!t. |

So salty. Hell hath no fury like Garf scorned!
August 23rd (before Butcher signed with NJ), "Butcher is the USDA prime cut that Botterill, McPhee and a few other NHL GMs want to sink their proverbial fork and knife into."
August 28th (after Butcher signed with NJ), "He said he thinks he is ready to play in the NHL today.
That's debatable."
It's amazing how a player can go from being a "prime cut" to chopped liver within a week, according to fans of the team they didn't pick. |
