Regardless, all Dr.'s need to do is use the concussion angle. Given the poop storm around that topic the league and NHLPA won't touch it. Do you think any GM's are going to speak up when stuff like M. Richards, Voynov, Hossa etc etc etc has recently gone down?

Juolevi is still adjusting to his rapid weight gain, which to me, while admirable to push his body that hard in such a short term, shows his determination, but it was not smart. Rapid weight gain, even if it is muscle, is very hard on your body. I was under the impression that anything over 2-3 lbs of month of straight muscle gain is very hard on the body. Juolevi needs to drop a few pounds and go back to playing at the speed he was prior to the weight gain, and to play in Finland, playing 20-23 minutes a night. Expectations need to be tempered as well, the kid isn't going to be an NHL'er anytime soon.

it's not reaching. The guy put on like 15 lbs of muscle over the summer. Do I think his play would have been drastically better than what he has shown if he hadn't put on all that weight? Probably not. He needs time to develop, but what he did to himself didn't help, at all...

PS - not everyone has the frame to hold and function at 250lbs hefty

I thought Juolevi was having a fairly decent game until he had a brainfart in 3rd. No worries, he will be a fine defenseman imo.
Boeser looks more like a center, his game at both ends and his iq are very nice to see.
Also Virtanen showing à nice/rare net front presence will be a welcome to this team.
Like what Lind showed at times as well as Archibald.

Just Anton Rodin for me, two simply awful games. We have played two after all and some of the players played bad in both.

2 maybe 3 kids per season makes more sense than "play only kids".
Gradually bringing kids into lineup will make for a more rewarding result.
Although, I want to see some of these vets retire, I am smart enough to realize they are needed during these transitional times.👍
