Gostisbehre struggled last season but he is entering his 3rd NHL season. Provorov is a 2nd year player but he plays like a veteran. Play the kids and get the growing pains over with. They have to commit though.

I think 35 points is a far more realistic expectation for Patrick.

I tend to agree. 25-35 pts, like Eric Staal year #1. He's 19, and pretty clearly needs to work on his mobility in order to find space to create offense. I could see him turning in a very solid defensive season, tho.

Have to say. I enjoy the low key rage.

Has a team ever started a season with 5 of 6 starting defensemen who have fewer than 145 games of NHL experience? I don't believe so, but am not sure. I do think, even if GM and coach won't say it, that it figures into final roster. Not saying it should be a determining factor, but I do think it is something that was discussed.

if they want to send Sanheim down, fine, I get it. but why wouldn't you play them both or at the least Morin in the game today? and if its true they haven't been happy with some of his decisions made and that is why he didn't play are you saying he could make the team but be a healthy scratch to start the season (assuming Ghost is ready to go)? that would freaking annoy me. these kids need to play
