I think Hutton has stepped up since Edler went down. Playing huge minutes and is a plus player with an apple thrown in. Did he look bad on the Eichel goal? Ya. Did he make up for it the other 25 mins? I say ya.

His stance has always been clear. Most of the youth does get loved by everyone here and we're all guilty at least somewhat guilty of viewing their games with rose coloured glasses on and assuming all of them will keep getting better and better, which is far from a guarantee.

I doubt he's denying the fact that the vets don't get hate around here.

If you don't agree then learn the phrase "agree to disagree" instead of dragging this on over 5 pages like usual.

If you can find a team that deploys 1st or 2nd pairing D on the 3rd pairing go ahead.

That's hilarious the only trend here is to attack anything Canuck to death. The voices like your own are actually the rule here to deride everything and anything. Don't equate the local fan base of casual fan observers as the HB poster.

Having objectivity isn't a spurious affliction of cheering. There are suggestions made not take it or leave it demands. The reality being proposed is it's not as bad as you make it out and try to look at all sides of the issue. But your reaction is visceral. Calling that as independent thinking opposed to pom poms is hypocritical at best.

No one overates anything Canucks on these threads. The popular thing is to ridicule as much as possible. You lead the charge there, as you say, so maybe you think you are free thinking in your popularism.

An independent thinker, which applies reason, would understand the team has flaws and a long way to go but appreciate the little things like player development.
