Watching Flames-wild game and see 2 players hit Dumba in the numbers, no penalty called, no fights, no one hurt.
IMO 2 things different about this hit versus Gudbranson one, 1st Dumba was up against the boards, not 2 feet away like Vatrano was, secondly, Dumba was trained in leagues that have contact, so you learn not to be in vulnerable positions. Vatrano was in college, where contact is very rare and players tend to put themselves in vulnerable positions.
As a result of more players making it from these No hitting training grounds ie; colleges, European leagues, contact in the Nhl will be banned because these analytic darling type players will be consistently getting hurt.

Well I am really quite happy that Toronto lost, Edmonton lost and Calgary lost.

Couldn’t care about Calgary to be honest, but really surprised that the NHL allowed both Toronto and Edmonton to lose. After all we all know that the fix is in...
