I have no opinion on OJ yet, but i don't think points is going to be how he gets measured.

True, but it's what this team needs.

+/- ?

No need to put a label on him yet.

Very true, I just want to start seeing homeruns. I know it's unreasonable. I don't care if it is.

totally.

Dahlin looks more like the Dman this team needs.

or Ekman Larson is a FA soon(ish).

Can team Sweden convince him to play here ??
Can't be worse that Arz.

I can't wait for this team to get a truly outstanding prospect that keeps on getting better and better every season. Just a freight train.

It seems our rookies take one step forward and then two back. You're ecstatic when a glimmer of skill is shown and then next thing you know they're a gong show. It's manic.

Both the Bruins and Kings tear it down rebuild appears to be much further along than teams like Arizona, both teams looking pretty good with some of the youth that has been inserted into the lineups.

Ok, if you want to play that game... Over 280 NHL points have been scored by 17 players from that draft.

OJ ain't one of them.

- bloatedmosquito

It's quite apparent that OJ is a dumpster baby that FA forced LB to draft while TL was just looking at himself in the mirror.

More likely to let in a short handed goal then the Sedins scoring

Gotta admit, I like the Poulliot deal, kid is gaining confidence and looking decent.

As good as the kid is, do you think Sergachev would be putting up the same numbers on our team as he is in TB? Also we should only worry about kids taken after OJ, obv Matthews/Laine will skew the numbers. Tkachuk would still be good for us, but likely not quite as many points on this offense starved team during his rookie year.

I think if Pouliot keeps playing well, Hutton is moved when Edler comes back. Moving Hutton for help on forward makes sense if we have Edler, MDZ, and Pouliot all playing well. I doubt Hutton has much value in a trade for picks. Something like Hutton for Galch or something.

Gaunce is on a conditioning stint. There's no need
