Yes, they shouldn't rush him. - VanHockeyGuy
Off the top of my head Peter Forsberg stayed in Sweden for three years before he came over. Nick Lidstrom two years in Sweden before he came over. Malkin spent two years in Russia before he came over... |

Somebody mentioned in the last thread he is playing the champions league today.
He definitely isn't in the CHL. He is playing against Rasmus Dahlin and Lias Andersson. |

You have to make one post before you can quote, which is why you see some guys post this with their first post. |

Great article Carol, Backstrom is one of the most consistent players in the NHL. I think if we stay out of the box we have a small chance, but this PP is going to be difficult. |

Canucks ahead of the Flames and Oilers in the standings... who would've thought! Those Baertchi, Granlund trades are looking like solid moves. Flames got hosed. |

Champions league in Europe, is like champions league in soccer- you play in both leagues at the same time. As I mentioned, Brooks shared a great article earlier. here is is again

But he is not playing in champions league right now. This is regular SHL.
The Champions league has tournaments through out the year.

Not sure if I should be happy that Erickson is still out for a few more games, or sad that he is returning this season. |

You're technically right that he is in the champions league right now, but mainly he is in the SHL.
How they do in the SHL determines positioning in the CHL for the tournaments they have throughout the year. Next one is in december.
Like his scoring in the CHL doesn't even show up anywhere. |
