If Draisaitl continues to put up 70ish points, wins face offs, and remains a wiener to play against, then yes he is worth 8 by today’s NHL standards. - Wildschwein
49% faceoffs isn't great. But aye, better than McDavid's 39%
But honestly I watch football all over the world. - FransNielson
Nice to know. ManU and ManCity are having quite a good season. As for Arsenal.... still shocked that Arsene didn't leave. His time, as good as it was, is up.

It's called football. You play with your feet. American football should be called Handegg, because you barely play with your feet and the egg is not a ball.

Yeah and (frank)ing Moose are called Elk in Europe.
It’s called soccer in North America mother (frank)er, and shall remain so until it outshines the NFL/CFL.

ARSEnal. Underperformers, really. Same with Liverpool. Man. City looks like they're becoming a powerhouse in Europe. ManUtd are always going to be the bestg, minus the 2013-14 season. Spurs look fantastic and Kane is incredible. Leicester city is horrible.
But Canadian football is looking up honestly. Arfield is playing in the Premier League (Burnley), Cardiff City is looking like their getting promoted next season, a Canadian is a reserve on West Ham as well. Larin is going to Europe (thank (frank)ing god) Everton was looking into him as well as Lazio in Italy. Ideally him going to La Liga would be great.
Plus Davies may be Canada's future.
And if the joint bid for the 2026 world cup goes through (literally up against Morroco, who does not have a good human rights track record), Canadian will automatically make it to the World Cup.
So yeah, pretty exicted. But I cheer for Poland, Ireland and Iceland (before it was hip) as well.
Let’s be honest, there’s only two North American countries anyone cares about, and that’s just me being generous to my Canadian friends. - smellmyfinger

You and yours will care more about Canada once I make it great again.

Agreed.
I cheer for Italy though, but Poland shouldn't be underestimated in my opinion (Lewandowski is a damn boss).
