it took one cold streak(relative to eichel's normal play). one. actually amazed - Sabresfan-365
Yeah 3 points in a week. "Soft!" "perimeter player!". I don't see Ovechkin sticking his nose in front of the net. Sure he skates around and hits guys, usually bordering on or way over the cheap line, but he's the epitome of a perimeter player, how many goals does he have from the circles out? 400? 500? Oh, but right, it's totally his fault Washington can't win too, so bad example...
Crosby didn't win the Cup for the Pens last year, Guentzel did.
Tyrod doesn’t “suck”
He can make some really nice plays in spots
But...
he’s not a good enough passer to carry this team when the defense isn’t keeping us close
That’s all I’ve ever said
Never bashed him
Never said he sucks
He’s just not a “franchise” qb
I’m ok woth him being our starter next year if the guy we draft isn’t “ready” to start
He just has a ceiling of something like 9-7
Apology accepted (hahaha) - jdfitz77
He sucked today. It's too bad: I thought he showed some progress this year. He's a likeable guy, and makes some good plays with his feet. Unfortunately when you get behind in the nfl, you need to throw.

Went to the game with my father. Drank a lot.
Went back to the parents for dinner. Drank some more.
Fell asleep on the couch.
Woke up. Played pick up hockey.
Day wasn't a total waste. Probably eliminated a hangover tomorrow.
-trade Bogosian, Moulson, Lehner, & Beaulieu (unless he improves & looks promising)
-sign Tavares (10.0m), Carlson (6.0m), and Kane (6.0m)
-trade for Grubauer & sign (2.5m)
-draft defenseman with top 3 picks
-if no one is available in 1st that’s worth it, trade the pick to someone for a good young def prospect
Bailey(.9)-Tavares(10.0)-Okposo(6.0)
Nylander(.9)-Eichel(10.0)-Pommer(5.6)
Kane(6.0)-O’Reilly(7.5)-Reinhart(3.0)
Girgs(1.6)-Larsson(1.5)-Baptiste(.8)
Rodrigues(.7)
*wingers can be shifted around, no biggie
*3 lines that can score
*O’Reilly line won’t have to get all the tough defensive assignments bc the Tavares line will be more than capable as well (4th line too)
Scandella(4.0)-Carlson(6.0)
McCabe(1.6)-Ristolainen(5.4)
Guhle(.7)-Antipin(1.0)
Fedun(.7)
*banking on McCabe getting consistent, or Guhle being ready for the top4 quickly
Grubauer(2.5)
Ullmark(.8)
*I’m done with Lehner...
hopefully Grubauer can be the guy, at least till Luukkonen is ready
Co-Captains- Tavares, Eichel
A- O’Reilly, Carlson
*obviously we’d sit down with Jack & ROR to let them know we are going after Tavares
I’m sure they’d be more than OK with it
In Minors:
F- Mittelstadt, Asplund, Pu, Fasching
D- Falk, Borgen, Tennyson, Nelson
*salaries are rounded
Actual total comes in just under 77mil
BOOM... Cup Contenders
IF the defense still needs help,
trade Reinhart for a good top4 guy
That should shore things up
Long term...
Cap will continue to go up each year
Pommer is off the books after this season
So that’s at least 7.5mil in room to replace Pommer with Mittelstadt & give minor raise to McCabe & pay bonuses
No other signings needed till the following season, and we’d still be ok bc no major raises needed
Doesn’t get dicey for another few seasons at least
I've been defending tyrod, he had a few good games and people were still female doging about him.
I'm wrong, he sucks!
It didn't help that the score got out of hand, from the beginning. The bills are a run first offense. Hard for them to play from behind ect.
He had some wide open guys today, he checked down for 2 yards.
He threw balls high and wide ( shady) on one play
He scrambled in circles
He set up clay to get destroyed by throwing behind him
He passed to Tolbert for 5 yards on 3rd and 15
He is not good - Boss34

lol with the exception of the Giants its been this way for years...you have to wonder if its the scrutiny of the NY media, but the Giants seem to have coped with it
