There is another thread doing the same thing for me... Plus the one you just posted.
It's weird.

that's about it

there is going to be growing pains for sure

but you expect players like risto, ror, okposo, mccabe etc to raise their game as they are invested for the future, and for the most part it's not happening

regarding the pommer/eichel situation

their chemistry is the main reason skunk is buried on the 3rd line

with pommer and okposo on the rw, there is no slot for the skunk on the top 6

unless okposo or reinhart move to lw, which I think will happen if kane gets traded, it will be this way for the entire season

I used to have high hopes for McCabe. The few games I've gone to though he looks like dog poop.

Risto needs help. bad.

Too many passengers on the Pegula gravy train. Maybe there should be some performance clauses in these multi million dollar contracts.....

If the PP can get going again,
both Jack & Sam’s production will go up

I seem to remember them getting quite a few pts on the PP last year

pommer seems to be slowing down a bit lately...he's not playing bad by any means, in fact he rang some iron last night on a shot that I believe could've tied the score...he has enough veteran savvy to be in the right place, but at 34, sometimes his age can't get him there at the optimum time

Okposo had the tip-in last night at a spot where skunk made his living last season...

I agree

I just want to see gus on the dot for the 3rd line to give them options for RW on all 3 lines

I honestly think he's been better than he's given credit for. at least offensively speaking. I have no issue moving him but at 1.6 mil i find it interesting that hes taken as much heat as he has.

It’s not like Okposo was never around the net last year though
I think last year proved there’s room for both of them to be successful on the PP

It’s weird that it’s struggling so much this year

If Sam is part of the “core” and doesn’t get traded, where do u see him fitting in long term?

If it’s RW with Jack,
then where do u see Nylander & Mittelstadt fitting in?

I could live with that, although I think ideally, gus should be either 3rd-line lw or, preferably, on the fourth line...

originally thought that larry would make a good No. 3 center, like he did the past year and a half, but he's been really struggling

new coaching staff, new way to play...when that didn't work, they went back to last year's top pp unit and when that didn't work, they're trying something else...one thing they can do is attack the powerplay with a greater sense of urgency

It's his clumsy turnovers and misplayed pucks that really catch my eye. But I admittedly don't watch nearly enough of the Sabres to give you an informed decision. This is just what I am personally seeing when i am unfortunate enough to be invited to games.

I really hate watching this team play hockey, have I mentioned that?

he's had some real bad moments...but i'm not nearly as disappointed with him as I am with the play of Tennyson and beaulieu, the latter of which coughed up the puck again, with the goalie pulled, which lead to the first empty-netter

Your location may have indirectly revealed that

I think those misplays got worse when he was paired with the curse of #5 and Gorges. Away from them i think hes been fine
