To be honest, Matthews is playing on a better team as a whole.

I think that helps.

He has relatively competent defensemen that can get the puck out of the zone.

Buffalo is 5-6-0 this season when they don’t score a Powerplay goal and 0-3-3 when they have at least 1 PPG. Winless when they score a PPG. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I think it might be 3 games.

Russ Brandon's existence in Buffalo is more funny than anything. As far as that list it's spot on, which is excusable IMO. How these two teams could be run with the resources available to them and be so far behind is unreal. Apologies for being that negative guy Monday morning.

I'm not sure what is worse. The great Bills teams ended in gut wrenching defeat one year then complete embarrassment the following 3. I couldn't make it through the 4 Falls of Buffalo past the Redskins. F That, I don't need to relive that crap.

FYI, not sure if many of you younger than me know this, but the friggin comeback vs. Houston didn't sell out in time and was blacked out. I called my best friend at halftime to ask him if he was still gonna listen. Ended up staying on the phone the rest of the game. That game warped me and I've foolishly held on to hope with these effin teams year after year because they miraculously did it once. In the end they still got stomped by Dallas.

I was listening to the game at my grandparents, we left to go home at halftime because I had a hockey game later that day.

We listened to Christie kicking the field goal in OT as I was sitting in the parking lot of Caz Ice Rink before my game started. I got dressed in the car, I didn't want to miss it.

Was considering driving to Buffalo for the Sabres game this Saturday.....might be rethinking that
