I will jump on this wagon with you. Gerbe isnt the only one calling for it and he is correct in my opinion.
Kane is a plug and play shooter. Move him anywhere else and i would bet the dip his point totals might take would be out weighed by the increase in jacks production with someone different who is more capable of distributing the puck.

That's good to know. I think he's going to be with the sabres next year. He's talented. I'm not trying to be a Homer, but his skill set should translate immediately to the nhl.

Here is the head scratcher for me. Housely seems to like his top 6, even top 9 - because he hasn't really changed anything. But we continue to lose and look sloppy. A guy like Girgenson's plays well and then gets relegated to the fourth line with Nolan and Larsson. Reinhart is doing nothing yet we know that last year he played well on Jack's wing. Baptiste played with McDavid in Erie yet he isn't given a chance to play with Eichel.

On the D-line, Falk and Fedun are better than Tennyson yet they sit and Tennyson doesn't (until last night). Hmmm

Premature to judge someone based off a 2 week tourney & training camp

I know Nylander had a tough start last year,
but he was playing pretty well by the end of the season

Too soon to make any judgements on him one way or the other imo

I think you’re being extreme here

Jack is averaging .88 ppg this season
Last year he was at .93

If the PP was clicking, instead of last in the league, then I bet Jack’s ppg would be above what he had last year

He also played woth Kane for quite a bit last year

I agree we should split them up...
but saying Kane is suffocating Jack is going a bit overboard

He can play that Tyler Seguin role I believe he's a duel type player
