I caught only the last 3 minutes(kids b day party). Everyone said Canisius and UB could have both been better defensively. Not sure what that totally meant but UB has a good coach and a lot of talent. That according to experts anyway. Both of their tournament appearance years were up and down the first halfs of each season.

We have exactly one player right now who's smart because he's playing himself out of Buffalo.

And honestly, he's also the only one who's sick of not playing in the playoffs.

17 games in and this team is unwatchable. Gonna be a LONG winter....

If your best and so called Generational player plays like Eichel is playing currently, then your team is in terrible trouble.
I want for this kid to be the talk of the NHL, but his style leaves a lot, a lot to be desired.
Rather lackadaisical play away from the puck, loses it and then stands there for a second rather than having instinctive drive to put his head down and go get it back bar none. Afraid to get hit, uses his stick only when on the wall, no bump and grind to “bounce” the puck loose.
His pass first mentality is frustrating when he clearly has the best percentage chance...I can somewhat live with this from a center looking to set-up his finishers...but drive to the net hard and see what happens from time to time.

He needs significant coaching on his style of play to become elite...he is nowhere near it right now. Best thing is he realizes it, so maybe there is hope.

Keep Skunk on Jack’s wing for the sole purpose of building his trade value...then dump him, he isn’t the real deal primarily due to his lack of speed.

Only chance I see in winning this game is by causing 3 - 4 turnovers and capitalize on them.

Can the Bills
- get sustainable pressure on Drew? His quick release makes it doubtful
- force Drew to be one dimensional by stuffing the run, screens, and play action passes? This will be tough
- take Ginn away if Thomas is out. If ThomAs is out, then there is a chance.
- have long, ball controlled drives to keep it out of the hands of Breeze? If so, those drives need to yield TDS to put pressure on Breeze

Most centers love having a guy on their wing to finish their set-ups...last year this page was full of complaints about Girgs, Foligno, Carrier etc on his wing. No he gets a guy who crashes the net, gets open for his set-ups and finishe# them...but he’s stifling Jack’s play.

I know I'm going to get some heat for this just some players just don't work with others like Sidney Crosby with Phil Kessel that trade was for Sidney Crosby not for Malkin but it worked out in the end

I'm telling you if you take him off his line his game will go naturally back to the way it was right now he's not the same player everyone can see that he needs to go back to his game and he can't do that with Kane on his line

The spread is 2 1/2 - 3 for the gane today. I think the bills d is for real.
-they will not get to Brees
-they will capitalize on mistakes
-saints d isn't as good as their rankings
-hard to win on the road (dome team) especially in the cold.
-hard to win 7 in a row in the nfl.
