What a way to come back after AZ.

Hynes has these boys programmed to not lose consecutive games, sick!

Hayes and Stafford were both awful, I didn't tune in till the second however each time they got on the ice it seemed they were standing like pylons in their own zone...

Agree with all of this, even the Zajac piece. Dirty, ugly goal, but who cares. Hopefully this gets him going a bit.

Total toss up between Stafford and Hayes, but Stafford has gotten a longer leash until now. Agree that Zacha should draw in and Stafford out in the near future. As mentioned yesterday, I wouldn't mind seeing Q get a shot at some point, but I'm guessing we're weeks away, or perhaps an injury away, from that happening.

Nico was a beast last night!
Noesen looked really good too last night.
Very impressive win, let's hope they can keep it going.

Stafford started the season out well but has been invisible lately, plus the team has WAY more invested long term in Zacha so I'd like to see him get in there.

Potential full strength forward lineup?

Hall-Hischier-Bratt
Mojo-Zajac-Palmieri
Wood-Boyle-Zacha
Gibbons-Coleman-Noesen

I like that group. Noesen has shown me more for a majority of the season than Stafford and definitely Hayes, plus I love that fourth line together, reminds me of 2012 CBGB. I'm sure there's a good chance they'll put Palms back with Hall and Nico once he's back but man is the Hall-And-The-Kids line excellent.

As far as who gets scratched, whether it's Stafford or Hayes, ya gotta scratch Hayes. At least Stafford has proven valuable in the shootout this season. Hayes brings zero to the table.

When Palms comes back I hope he is the odd man out and gets waived

Can't see palms not being on the top line even though I think Bratt would do more damage with Nico and hall than with zajac and think palms can work with zajac

We have a lot of vets who are under-performing because of injuries. Stick them all on a line together, probably.

It was a great win, but overall it looked like the Devs got outplayed and had more puckluck than the jackets. Hope on Friday they show some better D and reduce Schneider's work on a win at home. I guess the only play Stafford and Hayes to improve their trade value, because they add nothing.

Anybody heard anything about Yegor Rykov lately? Anybody think we can convince him to leave the KHL and play for NJD? He'd be a great replacement for Moore.

You might know this already, but allaboutthejersey.com does a weekly prospect update, he might be under KHL control until 18/19.

Palmieri hasn't really under performed when he's been in the lineup this year. By the time he comes back things will likely be different, but I see your point of putting all of those guys on one line. I do think that the Hall-Nico-Bratt line is playing great and it'd be good to try to get other lines going to have more depth scoring, and based on what I've seen so far I have more faith in Palmieri providing offense on a line away from Nico and Hall than I do with Bratt.

Yeah, you're right. Palmieri has been good. I'm talking about Zajac and Johannsen who have been bad. Their injuries have been big setbacks.

I think playing Palmieri on the top line makes sense. Bratt will be better with some more sheltered minutes against weaker competition.

In theory, but in practice it so far seems like Bratt has a way higher impact when he's playing with Hall and Nico than he does without those two.

I think it's a product of us living and dying by having one effective offensive line.

Yes, I was reading the prospect update and that's what made me bring him up. Excited about Rykov, Sissons, Walsh, and Jeremy Davies. Even Jocktan Chainey might amount to something. There is defense is the pipelines!

Looks like Florida's season is over.

Anyone on that roster we can steal for our benefit?
