Having #9 out there, during that last PP on D was just stupid! Sitting on a 1 goal lead! No issue having 9 up front, but not on the back end.

I watched the entire Amerks game tonight with a friend and we were blown away by the hockey. A team that new what to do in all three zones. They could clear the net, create turnovers, transition, sustain pressure. We were blown away since we've seen none of that with the Sabres. Then after Amerks ended we watched the final two periods of the Sabres and it was atrocious. No one wants to do anything, no one knows what to do, no one cares. I know the roster is lack luster but I think we have to start facing reality that Housley is just another awful Pegula era hire. Might have to ad him to the list of guys Pegula is paying until the end of time for not being here.

(frank) him, he blew the game. The refs handed him the game on a platter, I don't want to hear poop from this guy. The team wasn't sitting back they just aren't good and were getting outplayed. Jack was served the golden opportunity and blew it. And what is he otherwise on shootout attempts? 1-9?

Pegula will have bought the Sabres 7 years ago this February and so far we've Lindy Ruff, Ron Rolston, Ted Nolan, Dan Bylsma and Phil Housley as coaches. Am I forgetting anyone? 5 coaches in less than 7 years, I think you're onto something.

He's owned the Bills for 3 years and had 4 coaches.


10 combined seasons and you'e had 9 different coaches, 6 gm's and like 3 or more team presidents? From a historical standpoint, what the actual (frank) are you doing?

But it would be nice if coaches could coach multiple systems to fit the players on hand, rather than a continuous purging / acquisition of players to fit their systems ... then in 2 - 3 years they get fired and it starts all over again

I only saw the 3rd and OT last night.

They looked much more energetic, like they had jump in their step.
I did notice Jack, Okposo, pouliot, Kane, ERod, Wilson and Nolan ... so 1/2 of the forward group. Bogo and Rist on D, although Bogo for some wacky-ass playing.
Lehner looked solid, except for that OT goal...not sure if he was screened by Risto or not as the feed from Center Ice stops nearly immediately after the game is over.

Unfortunate result, but from the play in the 3rd only, it looked like a step in the right direction.

Did Eichel pick up an assist on Chicago’s shorty? Had a chance to redeem himself with the PS and wasn’t even close. He’s a wussy. Shouldn’t even made it to Lehner letting that garbage in.

This is all a nullity and we are watching a shootout right now if the refs call the high stick on Risto. They all watched it, but low and behold...they didn't call it. Not unsurprising considering they decided to go to commercial break after the Hawks iced the puck earlier in the game.

Jack is chasing us away by being 1 of 2 players (Lehner) who showed up and played their ass off last night. I haven't seen jack skate that well and play that hard since his rookie season. But yes, he's awful blah blah blah blah blah
