Jack is chasing us away by being 1 of 2 players (Lehner) who showed up and played their ass off last night. I haven't seen jack skate that well and play that hard since his rookie season. But yes, he's awful blah blah blah blah blah

You are spot on though, Jack’s play was certainly elevated last night.
A couple of things he does need to work on:
- Face offs
- Breakaways/shootout/penalty shots
- Backchecking - although last night, in the 3rd was all I saw; I did notice his effort there.

I think Jack was too tired take the penalty shot. Too bad. We played pretty good. Our usual downfall. Crappy goals let in. That OT goal was partially Risto fault but come on Lehner. A freakin bouncer from the blue line

When you have that kind of investment the guy has to be money. He's got to be top 5 or maybe even an undisputed #1 or he's going to take tons of poop. And it's not the individual player the people are criticizing, it's the organization.

Someone has got to be a clutch player. We give up a bad late short handed goal, are given a gift in OT by being awarded a penalty shot, and let in a super soft goal in OT. We got worked most of the OT by Chicago

Lehner did what Lehner does. Looked great then let’s in a shatty goal to lose the game. He will never be a complete package carry us to a playoff spot goalie imo but I can’t argue that he did keep us in this game.

People were pissed at the ridiculousness of the whole thing. You give up 2 firsts for a guy. You tell us how he's going to be a HOF'er. Then he's always hurt and never really played. Then the Bills spend the offseason marketing him as finally being healthy and he and Tyrod are going to do something, then they pull the rug out from under our feet. It's being jerked around is why the fans were pissed.

As Housley has stated, and we have witnessed for what 4 years now, the team expends all their energy chasing the puck in their own zone and then need to change when someone flips the puck up and out.

Yet by contrast, Sabres seem to get one opportunity down in the O-zone and then poof, the opposition busts out of the zone cleanly.
