Franson leaves, is ostracized in the process and is in an Elite teams top 4. Buffalo makes great players average, till they leave, then they revert back to being great. It's pretty Danm easy and clear to see. One can cite numerous examples of this happening......have to REALLY think the organization is jinxed.

Eichel was flat out awesome last night. The hate makes no sense. So he didn't score in ot on a penalty shot----

How about the rush that drew the penalty shot.
He was already out on the ice for 85 seconds, then blew past the defenseman like he was standing still. The effort is there, he's 21!

That is not a big leap when he is playing on the 4th line. Maybe they want to see a team basically without Reinhart before they deal him. The two games he's been on the 4th line have been a plus. It will be interesting to see what they get for him when he is dealt.

I did say he played well during the 3rd period and OT which is all I watched.
I did NOT pile on his game last night. If you are inferring that, then you are wrong, see posts above.

What I DID SAY was in reference to his overall play over 2-1/3 seasons.
Needs to work on 3 areas. Is that hating on him?
I don’t think so, but whatever.

As far as Sam goes, he is doing a superb job playing himself out of Buffalo.
He doesn’t fit this system, so if this is the system they are going to play for the ne t number of years...then deal him away. I am disappointed in him to be sure, I just don’t see him being here long term so why waste the breath?

I’m thinking Housley now brings Girgensons back into the lineup and either Larsson or Reinhart grabs a seat in the Press Box for Sunday’s game.
