I would not even consider Karlsson until July 1st. If we lost Casey, our 1st this year, and more for Karlsson, and then he gives us one year and walks to the UFA market, that would be a catastrophe that would set this team back for years.

Seriously. then couple that with the hug contract that would necessitate losing ROR and Kane for cap purposes, the loss of top-end prospects to replace them due to a Karlsson trade, and it would be 5 years before we're good and he'll be old. Hard pass

Well they're good at their jobs because of their egos. At this point it's probably personal with them, though. They've already gone head-to-head once and almost lost a season. This time i could see them losing a whole season
