Looks like all the WJ hype has the prospects shaking. KL, JG, OJ all pointless today.
- manvanfan

It's a lot of pressure, if you don't succeed at the tournament you won't make the Canucks out of camp next fall.

I used to be exclusively new world and then had an awakening.
Introduced the wine world to my wife and have created a monster (that I can cheerfully live with) and my Scottish heritage encourages bargains. So Portugal is on our radar.

I tried Chile . I really like Chateauneuf de Pape and recently have been trying a few from the Rhone area. I really like them a lot. Once I latch on I become a regular

Speaking of skid marks, Benning looks to of done really well picking up Dowd. Too bad Subban wasn't able to take the next step, I thought he was going to force a call up but seems to of stagnated.

Subban spent two or three years playing in Utica under Green. I think he was given every opportunity he could reasonably expect. If Green thought he could contribute in Vancouver he likely would have suited up for them.
- CubanBuffet

I agree completely. Remember the last thing green said about subban was that his passes arent nhl quality.

Add that Cull has a history of developing prospects into very successful nhl players. If he too gave up on subban than its time to move on.

Is this the Flames last season in Calgary or do they have one more after this season?

Although I hate you all and hope you all step barefoot on Lego, I can appreciate the non hockey banter about fine wines and recipes on this thread much more than the wrestling crap that goes on in the Edmonton thread.

Keep up the good work ladies,

GO FLAMES!

When they move to Seattle I'll hate them even more than I currently do, if that's possible, should make for a great rivalry.

Not to beat a dead horse but remember when JB said Forsling became expendable because of Subban
