Ppl in victoria cant afford winter tires. I chose winter tires as my first purchase for my new crv. Everyone NEEDS winter tires imo

Hopefully the snow doesnt stick and stays on mt Washington. Hate snow in victoria. People are so dumb here when it comes to it

Well..... in the past 5 minutes it switched to heavy snow.

I just put new tires on both my truck and car, all season with the ms designations for the car, load rated f mud tires for the 4500... we'll see how well they work today....

Also, I'm having another boy, so in a year I've gone from being a single dad to having a partner again and anther kid coming!

You know how bob barker always said "get your pet spayed or neutered "

My saying "get the f*ck off the road off you dont have winter tires and its icy/snow!"

Ps. Crv doesnt scream cool or anything lol. Screams family dad who vows to never own a station wagon or mini van lol

just busting your balls over the snow tires. CRV is a great vehicle, I just have always hated the look of them, so I went cheap Jeep instead

What kind of Jeep?
My wife wants one but likes the compass or patriot ones.

I have the Patriot, runs well with no issues and good on gas. But you definitely notice the difference in quality/comfort when you get behind the wheel of some other manufacturers

Didn't one of the new Jeep's get top 5 vehicle of the year rating?

I think so. Most of my experience comes from a 2010 model, so a lot has changed since then. My girlfriend's 2016 cherokee is pretty nice, but was a little overpriced

Do you use it in snow conditions? If so how does it handle the snow.

Congratulations.

All-seasons don't work very well in snow and are terrible in slush. Drive carefully with them.

Not sure if true, and totally situational, but ive heard you can take blame in an accident if you have all seasons and get in an accident when weather is 2 degrees or below.

Yup. It has happened to a few people I know. After making sure no one injured, the next thing cops check is the type of tires and the condition they are in.
We get quite a lot of snow up here and are somewhat experts on tires. Lol

Not much snow in the lower mainland, but so far without snow tired I have managed just fine, handles well and wasn't much fun trying to drift in a few parking lots. I have the north edition too so I have flipped to 4x4 in the few occasions I got stuck parking on the street

I got lucky a few years ago down there, when it snowed about 2mm. Man the drivers are terrible.
I swear I was the only one on the road with winters and a cop pulled me over as I was driving 40 km/hour and everyone else was going maybe 25.
It was quite comical, but dangerous.

Yup, I always hope for zero snow for that exact reason. There is an unsafe combination of fast and slow drivers all of whom are inconsiderate to the people around them. Lots of contributing factors as to why its the worst place to drive in the snow

Hutton out Gudbranson in, there's the weak link. Interesting it's also trade freeze day.

Good on Biega. Guance even looked not bad the other game. I'm reaching

We can breathe again. Brock's a game-time decision after a reasonably successful morning skate!

Guddy's also back, Hutty's out and Boucher may also draw in...
