Colourful words for a colourful personality. - Reubenkincade
If the world was monochromatic it would be devoid of colour. However, that is where the details to vision come to life. Otherwise, we would be stuck in grey areas without understanding the concepts of how things really work. |

Tied for 4th for the worst goal differential. |

No one is catching Arizona for worst, and Buffalo seems a lock for runner up. Finishing 29th and having a top 5 draft position would help fix that!

Good to see you acknowledge one aspect on learning development in the NHL. The ending note on Canuck development is why perhaps you are struggling to understand.
Try to expand with the concept of situational diversity. Every team has a different set of circumstance for opportunity and need. This is where development cross over exists between league stages to NHL and it is not finite. Thus, it's not realistic to put the subjective measure of "proper" as that so easily gets lost in perceived perspective.
You can admonish your dislike of certain player performance. But that blanket proposal of where players belong isn't the remedy nor the source of malady for most. - Nuck4U
Wow, well what can I say to that, other than there was a good reason I didn’t post here for the last 3 weeks. Time to exit.
I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and to A_SL Happy Hanukkah. |

When they wouldnt use the word rebuild last year (I think it was Trevor that said the reporter could call it what he wanted?) thats when I had doubts they were going to keep on the path. I will admit, it seems they are taking care of their top prospects like Golodbin, OJ, Dahlen, Pettersson properly, but I still am concerned that they avoid Vanek-type free agents in order to showcase the kids in the NHL - WhiteLie
we need guys like Vanek, maybe not exactly like Vanek, but established players that can contribute.
maybe one of the screwiest notions is prospects making the club out of camp. as Makita has said, they should learn the game at the AHL level. only the elite should be able to step in.
our team has just sucked so bad that Hutton and Stecher or JV and McCann were able to make the club as first year pros.
we need guys in their way to some extent. better guys than Chaput and Megna.
I hate the idea of tanking. they should be trying to ice a competitive lineup at the start of the season, every season. if injuries happen, well you live with it and don't do anything too rash, keep your picks or get better ones.

Monochromatic was too much lol? Sorry bud maybe should have used black and white. Yet I do actually scale down a lot of verbage. As the other mode of using expletives gets a bad wrap lol. So I speak my mind sometimes on a level that is fitting... wink ... wink. |

Yup that's how it goes with the new lotto odds are in moving down.
Though would check your math on 24th finish you would be picking top 3 if moving up not 6th. - Nuck4U
lol….not necessarily. We finished 2nd last a few years back and picked 5th so there are no guarantees now that finishing lower gets you top 3 just increases the chances a touch.

It's better to finish 17th. 0% chance of falling in the draft. That's the sweet spot. |
