I think itll be something like a 2-0 snoozer, maybe tack on an extra EN goal. Both teams offensively challenged, one team has Carey Price

The Vancouver Canucks lost 6-1 to the Calgary Flames on Sunday but they also lost their star rookie Brock Boeser to a foot injury after a shot block early in the second period.

The majority of posters here are good guys, refs included. That's why I come here. However like Vantel said people are starting to come in here less.

Unfortunate.

As of today, certainly hearing more and more that Jonathan Dahlen will stay with Timra for the rest of the season and not move to another team. 24 points in 20 games in Timra for Dahlen. #Canucks

Sure hope that doesn’t derail his “development”.

Price always gets all nervous in front of friends and family, it’s guaranteed goal night for Gaunce. 5-3 Canucks.

Stephen Hawking here

In Metchosin and Sooke it is heavy wet snow that is laying heavy on branches and trees are coming down. 17,000 without power, roads closed because of trees, but quite beautiful here.

Pronman at the Athletic is doing previews of World Junior Teams, commenting on individual players. The Canuck related notes so far:

Jonah Gadjovich, LW, Vancouver
NHL draft: Second round, 55th overall in 2017

Gadjovich's inclusion on the team is to help fill a certain role for the club. He gets a lot of opportunities by being great around the net, getting second chances and deflections. He works really hard and can be tough to beat in a battle. His skill and speed are mediocre at best, but he's shown decent ability at the junior level this season.

Will Lockwood, RW, Vancouver
NHL draft: Third round, 64th overall in 2016

I also wrote about Lockwood in the same column where I discussed Jones. I love Lockwood's game. He buzzes around the ice, has skill and finds a way to make a difference. On the world juniors level, he’s likely a bottom six/depth player who kills penalties and gets the odd chance, but he can play with this caliber of talent.

I didn't understand that point of view so I left it alone and then left the thread.

That's the downside of the heavy snow, hope no one's hurt.
