I'm sorry Lip Out, I'm no fan of MJL either but your question didn't make any sense to me. |

I'm ready to have the conversation. You're obviously not. You should go back to bolding words in my posts.
- MJL
If there is ever a signifying item of "not being ready to have a conversation" it's using the lol emoji in a debate, nice.
If you'd like to carry on your reputation of avoiding attempts at backing up your claims it's your continued undoing.
Just calling a spade a spade sir. |

Not all signings have to be for the now... I hate to say it but I believe Hextall is pulling a Hinkie without the bravado. He knew signing the people he did wouldn't make them competitive but would fill the gaps until he could filter in the prospects little by little to form a team that is what he envisions. I just hope he's right in doing it that way. - dragonoffrost
I disagree with the idea of a soft tank. Its exacly in my eyes what they have done even if they haven't said it. They lucked out getting 2nd overall, but you might as well have just gone full Leafs. Thats another thing for another time I suppose.
I have concerns with the approach to FA, coaching, loyalty to Lappy and how exactly they are trying to develop some of these kids once they hit the NHL, or are ready for it.
The vets they have put together to help lead the kids, a large portion of them are turds that basically show them "what not to do". If thats the teaching method, by all means.

This isn't about a poorly worded question, it's about MJL not having the integrity to back up his claims frequently. |

We're only a few games away from either the wildcard or a top 5 pick. When does the lottery start running for the top 5 instead of just top 3 |

I'm often accused of arguing my opinions ad nauseum, which is true
Now I'm being accused of avoiding backing up my claims. This is actually a refreshing change. Thanks.
If you'd lose the condescension and other personal remarks, I'd be happy to engage you in conversation on the Flyers PK. Perhaps you don't want that to happen and would prefer to continue to engage in your current absurd manner. |

I just wonder when the pressure from the money men at the top starts. Assuming they dont make the playoffs this year.
You'd have to think some heat would be coming. Rightfully so. Hextall sticking by his coaches might not be the best move. Although they fired Mullen, the one that was actually solid in his role. |

The kids aren't supposed to be watching Weise, Lehtera, Fillpula. Those are bit pieces. They are supposed to be watching G, Jake, Simmer, Coots...That's where your thinking is probably off. Defensively I hate to say it they are supposed to be watching AMac and believe it or not Provy. Gudas is a throw away part. |

You don't always learn from playing with the people you should learn from. You also can learn a lot from covering for others mistakes. |

The Flyers haven't done anything differently than the Leafs have. Babcock has played players such as Nylander on the 4th line and cut the ice time of young players at times. Go to the Leags blogs, the fans complain about it the same way. The big difference is their younger players are far more advanced than the Flyers young players are.

It was actually a box of chocolate coins. It was funny explaining that to the gf as to why a middle aged grown man from another province (from the internet) sent me xmas chocolate. |
