I'm watching a stream with a chat right now and sooooo many people are cooking the refs for "giving the US a 5-3" |

Well, now you're entering MY brain.
I love Kyrou. I think he fits all the criteria. Thing is we already blew it trading Schenn to St. Louis. I would've much rather traded Kyrou+Frost for Schenn than the late 2018 in a draft I think is overrated. I've said that since the summer.
Steel is the other guy I circle. Anaheim is a gritty western conference team that has had bad injury luck but was a contender just last year. Sam Steel+1st for Simmonds+ makes a world of sense to me in my mind. I think he has that combo of being underrated and having elite skill and being not too far from NHL ready.
I don't watch enough Roslovic to have an opinion tbh, though I know how he's doing. So maybe, maybe not. I'm not sure Winnipeg is the best fit for Simmonds, but who knows. But all these guys are what I'm talking about as headliners, maybe with an add. You're not just trading Simmonds for Clayton Keller or Mitch Marner. You have to find a gem. - Mononoke
If a team like Tampa wants some more playoff snarl. Raddysh + 1st |

I like Raddysh a lot (and Katchouk, another Tampa pick and Frost's running mate), but I feel like it could be topped. If their 1st was higher, I might be more interested, but we could be talking the last pick in the 1st.
I'd consider trading for one individually though. |

Of this group the most natural fit is Anaheim. Simmonds started on the west coast and is comfortable there. He helps not only their top 6 but also their pk. And he plays a physical brand that they like to play. Idk how close steel is but I love him as a player and his long term potential. |

I thought about him but I didn't see as much of a style fit for simmer there vs the other 3 teams I mentioned. But we do have a history with Tampa and they do owe us one from filp still. I also think if Tampa trades him they would be looking for defense. |

If it's TB we need to restock our Brayden quota.

While you're probably right about Anaheim it would hurt my soul to see him in that uniform. I bought a Simmonds jersey when he played on the Kings and it would just never sit right with me.

I would rather see him in the western conference than against us in the eastern conference. I also would route for him to get a cup while were still down. |

It's evident to everyone that Lehtera can't play anymore. Yet he keeps playing. It makes no sense at all. |

Against one the fastest teams in hockey it makes sense to bring in A+ skaters like lehtera and manning - Tfaehner
Why try and use Sanheim's transition game when you have some one who is clearly much better at it in Manning.
