Great news for sure. Their mentorship value alone for Pettersson, Gaudette, OJ and possibly a few others coming in next season is paramount. It ecplises all factors really even considering their defensive liability. There really is no one out there to sign in their place. - LordHumungous
Thomas Gradin was talking about that a few months back |

Yeah ok then, so you know I could really give a sh!t, just balancing out the hate.
BTW, I think your stance is a bit melodramatic, but if that's the sword you need to fall on. - Makita
Not everybody has the same opinion as everyone else. Ive always said to let them ride out their contracts while others screamed and cried for them to leave in the past couple years. There contract is up and I would like to see the Canucks move on. |

Did someone say sword? Do we need to talk about coaches? Are the Sedin's going to be coaches, scouts or execs? |

I bought this beautiful sword in Shanghai one time while there, Air China let me take it as carry-on, when I got to Vancouver to catch my flight to Victoria they were like "how the (frank) did you get this into a secure area"
PS: they took it away and made me check it lol. |

With all the young guns on ELC’s on the wings it won’t matter.
Let’s speculate on the twins next contract. Would “the GM” play a bit of hardball - i.e. Gagner money, or just cave and pay them 2nd line, Horvat money? |

It’s like that scene in Kill Bill Vol. 1 where Beatrix is flying to kill Oren-Ishi with a Hatori Hanzo sword in her lap.
