My guess is the Kane move back to Eichels wing is a showcase for a weekend move. - Shadman306
Eichel for Kadri, a 3rd and a 2019 conditional 2nd? - Leafs fans, probably |

I was thinking more along the lines of a stop-gap vet for the next year, maybe even two, while they develop a young qb...
bills still have a lot of holes--dt, de, lb, wr, ol--to plug--and not a lot of cap-space...hopefully they'll be able to use free agency and the draft to take care of at least a couple of those - Michael Pachla
TT, Glenn, Hughes will free up some space. And i am confident in the drafting by McD and Beane |

Housely needs to get on the same page as Botterill. I see that Pouliot is sitting and Nolan is playing in his place. And Kane is stuck with Larsson as his center. We need to play Kane with Eichel until they trade him. Housely should be showcasing all of our UFA's and putting them in the best possible situations to look good. |

i'm not a capologist, so if anyone can help out, how much will they save?...how much is dead cap-space?...and how much space will they have if all three were dumped?

We save 17.4 off next years cap by cutting those three, more over the long run.
Which would give us 46.4 in space.
Edit: Not sure of all the dead space, bonuses, and following years. I am too lazy to look up all that. |

Hughes isn't going anywhere, almost $6 million in dead cap space if he is released or traded |

I get tyrod, and I'm pretty sure the bills are intent upon moving on from glenn...
not sure about hughes, though...kinda like him |

I read Vogl's Twitter about Nolan in and Pouliot sitting. I just assumed Jack was still riding shotgun with Larsson. Hopefully I am wrong and he is riding shotgun with Jack

I'm not sure it would be a good idea anyway. There are a ton of questions there as is |

This coming year is a little tough with the dead cap space all around.
2019 though it clears up a lot.
That being said signing Cousins isn't an impossible task.
Whaley and Rex really screwed the team cap wise

He was double and triple teamed all year, that's why his stats were down. Teams only had to worry about him.
He is worth keeping around IMO |

Buffalo would have to retain on that Eichel contract for that package. |

just give the skins the first rd pick and sign cousins - homiedclown
A first? God no. Washington has no leverage, as they can't keep him and he's a UFA in less than 2 months. Washington misplayed their hand, they should have tried to shop Cousins before trading for Smith. |

Glenn would most likely be a post June 1st move. His dead cap goes from a little over $11 million to just under $5 million |

Washington would have to franchise him again for them to get anything for him.
